2 bottles each of:

Name: Vincent Caillé NV X Bulles
Region: LOIRE VALLEY
Country: FRANCE

Caillé, a fifth-generation winemaker, was one of the first producers in the Loire to go organic in the late 90s. Today, he is one of the most celebrated producers. This sparkling pet-nat is a special one; it is light salmon in colour from a touch of Grolleau that he includes in the mix. It is fresh and saline with fruity raspberry notes.

Name: De Martino 2018 Old Vine White
Region: ITATA
Country:
CHILE

De Martino is currently one of the most intriguing producers in all of Chile; they are making wine from cool-climate pockets scattered across the country. For instance, this bottle is harvested from a heritage vineyard over one hundred years in age, which is dry-farmed, biodynamic and tended to by horse. It is a field blend of Muscat and Chasselas (a neutral Swiss grape that softens some of the Muscat aromatics); it is elegant, subtle and fresh with a mix of juicy citrus and tropical fruit aromas, ginger and blossom.

De Martino is always a reliable name for quality in Chile. The Gallardía Cinsault is good value, but this has real intrigue: a blend of 70% Muscat and 30% Corinto (aka Chasselas) from an vineyard planted in 1905. Aromatic, fresh and dry, it's full of mineral-edged stone fruit, gentle nutty tones and brisk acidity. 92 Decanter

Name: Bernard Defaix 2019 Chablis
Region: CHABLIS
Country:
FRANCE

This wine is brought to you by a family of passionate vine-growers. Defaix, now run by Bernard’s sons, does something rare; they thoughtfully produce high-quality organic Chablis at a relatively approachable price point - typically unheard of in this revered region. This quintessential Chablis is pure, bright and textured with notes of preserved lemon, white flower, chalk, and crushed oyster shell.

Name: Deloach 2016 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Region: SONOMA
Country: UNITED STATES

DeLoach pioneered Pinot Noir wine-making in the Russian River Valley back in 1973. This wine is made in a Burgundian style and will be very appealing to Pinot lovers. It has nice balance with black cherry and forest floor notes, classically high acidity and velvety tannins.

Name: Mitchell 2015 Shiraz ‘Peppertree Vineyard’
Region:
CLARE VALLEY
Country:
AUSTRALIA

The Mitchell family has been making wine in Clare Valley since the 1970s. The climate here is not as hot as better-known Mclaren Vale or Barossa Valley, but its elevation is key to the finesse behind the Mitchell’s wines. This is a powerful and sophisticated Shiraz with ripe berry aromas as well as spicy and peppery notes.

Name: Speri 2016 Valpolicella Classico Superiore ‘Sant’ Urbano’
Region:
VENETO
Country:
UNITED STATES

The story of Speri dates back to the 1800s. Today, in its seventh generation of winemaking, it has mastered the cultivation of native Valpolicella varieties. For this wine, grapes are grown on pergolas and dried for three weeks before winemaking takes place. The end result is a dark-ruby wine with supple red fruit, herb and vanilla notes.
